the first
steps
.

"This process can be exciting but also a tiny bit nerve-wracking, letting a someone into your home and trusting them to truly help. But remember, this is your first big step to freeing yourself from constant frustration and to creating a home that supports the future you desire. Let's begin your adventure."

-Steffi

The entire process starts with:

01

a discovery call.

It all begins with our initial Zoom consultation. During our video call (or phone call), we will go over your basic information and a summary of what challenges are bothering you the most. You can also show me during our video chat what the main issues are, so I'll have a clearer idea of how to help. I will also want to hear your goals, your aspirations in not only your home, but also your life.

We'll also explore solutions and which services would be a good fit to make the most impact on day-to-day life.

Last topic on our call will be scheduling your in-home consultation.

the consult.

When the day comes for your in-home consultation, we'll find a cozy and comfy spot to sit and get to some in-depth questions which will cover all aspects of your life, in and out of the home. This may sound daunting or even intrusive, but the more information I have from you the better results you will then receive. This is where we really get to know one another. This is where we start building our professional relationship and creating the trust that is so crucial on both our ends. And remember, everything you say is 100% confidential.

02

the home tour.

Once the questionnaire part of the consult is done, it's time for the home tour. Please don't tidy up before I come over. It makes it much more difficult to solve what the real problems are if I can't fully observe and understand what your stressors and difficulties are.

During this tour, we'll go through every room, take basic measurements and snap some photos. During this, I'll be asking a few more questions for the spaces we'll be working on. Some of these questions are: What is this rooms current purpose? What does everyone do here? What would you say frustrates you the most?

03

Once the home tour is done, I'll take a little time to myself (and my other organizers if available) and write out your "Mini-Proposal". This home organizing proposal has been tailored specifically for you. It details the challenges or issues you shared with me, highlights the observations I made during the walk-through that can be addressed and includes my suggestions on which services and what solutions will be most beneficial for you. This also lists out the cost and time estimates.

Once this is written up, I'll ask you back and we'll go over the proposal as well as answer any and all questions you have.

If you're happy with the mini-proposal, we can schedule your first session, sign the necessary paperwork and get the ball rolling.

decision time.

04

heard enough? book now.

There's no time to waste when it comes to how absolutely wonderful it is to have an organized home and well-managed life. Book your In-Home Consultation now.

Now, the Project.

pre-plan.

Once your consultation is done, the paperwork is signed and your first session is booked, Establysh will craft a custom proposal that encapsulates all the details of your future project.

This includes all the information you need about your project such as your Project Overview, Key Directives and supporting apps. l will also create your Client Portal. This will be a web app that is a secure project dashboard listing our tasks, invoices, documents, mood board, etc.

Upon your approval of the proposal, the project will then begin.

space plan & trial runs

Now we can finally see what space we have to work with as well as furniture. This is where we'll space plan. Expect furniture to be rearranged to enhance functionality, flexibility, aesthetics, and foot traffic flow. We'll also update the shopping list for any additional furniture needed.

Now, unique to our company, we'll trial-run our organizational layouts. Not to go into too much detail, but we test out item layouts (such as in cabinets) and assess how effective this new spot is. This approach aims to enhance movement flow and prevent unnecessary purchases of organizing products.

our P.R.R.'s (pull, rough-sort, re-route)

Before embarking on organizing your home, it is vital to remove every item from each space we'll be working on. These will be brought to our temporary sorting area where categories items into rough-sorting piles and re-route items clearly marked for another space.

While this step may seem chaotic, it's absolutely essential to understand that a degree of disruption is necessary to establish order. Following this, we'll perform a light cleaning of the space we just pulled from.

final sort

With all available spaces now visible and a better understanding of "what goes where", we can now finish the initial sorting process. Each item will be categorized: keep, donate, dispose of, or relocate. This process may take varying amounts of time based on how much time it takes for you and the household to make decisions for each item.

plan & order.

This step is a creative one and a favorite. Your "Concept & Materials Board" is finally created just for you. In this, storage solutions are presented, room and style concepts are created and organizing products/furniture are listed for approval.

And now that the sorting process is done, we have a better understanding of either buying new, using existing or constructing storage products.

organize.

The process finally comes to a climactic finish as we meticulously arrange all of your belongings in their newly assigned spots and create a fresh feel to each space. All storage solutions are now implemented as well as any other service you requested. This is where it finally comes together, the culmination of all our efforts will be an absolutely gratifying moment as you observe the transformation we have achieved together.

Wow. are we done? I think we're done stage.

I know after reading this you are probably thinking, "Isn't organizing supposed to be easier than this? I swear other pro-organizers can do this faster and simpler."

Well, your right about faster. Some other organizers have shorter processes and quite trendy ideas too. But what about their clients long-term success? They don't usually show that OR if the solutions actually make life easier.

That's where Establysh is different. We figured out a process that dramatically increases the chances on long-term success, or at the very least, makes their home finally support them as it should.

Plus, our aftercare and maintenance program helps keeps our clients happy too if organization is just one of those things they don't have time (or just plain don't want to keep doing) to keep up with.
